The Ngoma School
Move. Intelligently.
From the studio to the stage
Ngoma School alumni perform with Dissonance Dance Theatre, on Broadway in Matilda and Spamalot, on the International Tour of Dream Girls, at Carolyn Dorfman Dance, Fivetwodance NYC, and on Norwegian Cruise Line productions.
The pipeline isn't theoretical. Students who began in Early Steps and trained through The Academy graduated into the professional concert dance world — and continue to come back to the school as guest teachers, mentors, and ambassadors.

Currently on Pause
The Ngoma School is currently on pause as we restructure for its next chapter. The financial-assistance commitment that has defined the program — across Early Steps, Summer Dance Lab, adult education, and the pre-professional pipeline — remains intact. Our Artist Incubator program, The Creative Space, continues arts education programming for emerging and professional artists; families with younger learners can join our relaunch list below.
Arts education programming through our Artist Incubator continues during this period.
