Edgardo placed in numerous ballet competitions across the Philippines. He received honorable awards in the 2015 Dance Arts Philippines for his “Basilio” and “Wedding Pas de Deux” Don Quixote performances. Additionally, Lacaba received 1st place and a gold medal in the 2015 Association of Ballet Academies Philippines senior division. He was a finalist in the 2018 Cultural Center of the Philippines Ballet Competition’s senior division.

At the age of 18, Lacaba joins Ballet Philippines – the Philippine’s leading dance institution. Edgardo performed in classical and modern full-length productions by leading choreographers. Furthermore, he guest performed across the Philippines in various classical ballet performances – including national tours in 2018. He is a former soloist with Springfield Ballet Company.
