Tirza Panunto is originally from Chico, grew up performing in productions of The Nutcracker, as well as The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Coppelia, and many repertoire shows and community performances. Tirza has performed the works of Val Canneporeli, excerpts from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Paquita, La Bayadere, Appalachian Spring, Rite of Spring with SELAH Dance Collective, and Amy Seiwert’s Nutcracker. She has been a member of Springfield Ballet Company performing in productions of The Little Mermaid, The Nutcracker, and Breaking Boundaries, and repertoire shows featuring works by Adam Sage and Caitlin Helton Scherer. Tirza recently joined Dissonance Dance Theatre and is excited about the upcoming season. She holds an AA degree in Biology, continuing to pursue her BS in Organismal Biology with the hopes of becoming a Biological researcher.
