Sarah Phillips has received recognition and scholarships from the Virginia Association for the Gifted. She has received the Tom S. Kenan Merit Scholarship, the Dr. Kelly Hedrick Legacy Award, and the Regional Dance America Summer Study Scholarship. Sarah has performed ballets such as Paul Taylor’s Company B, George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux’s The Nutcracker, Christopher Stewart’s Peter Pan, and George Balanchine’s Union Jack. She has also performed original works by Martha Nichols, Katlin Michael Bourgeois, and Houston Thomas, as well as many other full-length productions.
